Karen Mundy

Karen S. Mundy, the Principal Broker at Haymaker/Bean Residential Real Estate, has been a Realtor(r) since 1985. Having begun her real estate career in the Richmond/Petersburg, Virginia real estate market, Karen has sold property in Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey and Kentucky, as she followed her husband around with his corporate responsibilities. In fact, she was named "Rookie of the Year" from her local real estate board her first year in business!  Prior to becoming a Realtor(r), Karen was a staff accountant for a large CPA firm, which really helps her with understanding the mortgage and finance portion of making a sale or purchase come together.  Karen has also designed and built executive homes, as well as working with several builders over the years. Her experiences with new construction also help her with a better knowledge of home issues that may occur during the resale process. She loves new construction and working with builders, but is equally comfortable with resale homes and in dealing with either buyers or sellers!
